Jesue is an ambitious, personable, intelligent and very patient person who is always a great help to others!
“I was born and raised in a ranch type of house in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. I got my first job when I was 15 in a hardware store, when I was 19 I started working as a dental assistant. I finished my high school with a technical grade in accounting. Then I got two bachelor’s degrees, one as a dental assistant with expanded functions and one on the science of nursing. Then I worked as a nurse for one year, after that I started working as a supervisor at an assembly company and now I work for AHCS.
I’m a single man with no kids but I get to see my mom, dad, sister and niece every day after work, Saturdays and Sundays too. There are four members in my family including me. First of all my respected father who is retired now, he was the one supporting the family. Then my lovely mother, who is a housewife. She took care of me and my sister. Other members of my family are: my sister, who works at a hotel in Auburn and her baby girl. My whole family influenced me a lot, especially my dad when it comes to how I approach my work.
During my spare time, I enjoy walking, play volleyball. I really love cooking. I often watch cooking shows to learn new cooking techniques and learn about new dishes. Sometimes I just spend a few hours drawing something or reading.
Something that would surprise many – I used to be an emo boy. When I have a bad day I like to listen to country music or read a book.
I would describe AHCS as a connected, flexible and empathetic agency. I like to meet new people and my job flexibility. The most important thing that I have learned in the last few years is how different people are,” shared Jesue.
Thank you, Jesue, for your hard work!
