Specialized care to meet all of our clients’ needs.

At Advanced Home Care, we understand that each one of our clients are unique. That is why our caregivers undergo specialized trainings to understand the needs of our clients with dementia, Parkinson’s disease, cancer, and post-surgical needs.

Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Support

Dementia care requires compassionate and well-trained caregivers. Our Home Health Aides (HHAs) complete comprehensive dementia training to understand the disease process and learn strategies for managing difficult behaviors. Our HHAs receive specialized training for dealing with memory loss, behavior modification, personal care and other important care needs unique to dementia.

Cancer Care

Managing a cancer diagnosis and treatment plan for a loved one is complex and time-consuming. Adding these demands to an already busy life while trying to focus on helping a loved one beat cancer is a lot to navigate. Aside from assistance with personal care and housekeeping tasks, our trained Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and HHAs can help with many cancer care support challenges.

Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological condition that affects movement, balance, and coordination. These changes in the brain can lead to symptoms including – tremors and shakiness, muscle stiffness, shuffling steps, stooped posture, difficulty initiating movement, and lack of facial expression. Parkinson’s disease can also affect cognitive function and may cause dementia, affecting mood, memory, cognition, and speech. It requires specially trained HHAs to assist with mobility assistance, fall prevention, and emotional support.

Post-Surgical Care

A successful recovery relies on ensuring the patient remains comfortable, safe, clean, and as pain free as possible. Our CNAs and HHAs are trained to help surgery patients during the most difficult days, weeks, or months following their procedure. We can help with a variety of day-to-day tasks.

Respite Care With 24/7 Support

Whether you need coverage for just a few hours, a weekend, or more, our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) can give you peace of mind so you can get some much-needed rest. During our comprehensive Intake Call and Care Assessment we gather important information that helps us determine the right kind of amount of care needed to keep clients safe – while giving peace of mind to family members.
